If It's Lame, Don't SHARE IT!!!!
I have a question for everyone reading this, What is wrong with you? Maybe that's a wrong way to start off the article, ummmmm let me say this in a better way, why do we share and give attention to things that we don't like? If it doesn't tickle your fancy, why give it the time of day? If you're not following what I'm saying, I'm talking about the rapper (I can't believe that I called him that) Slim Jesus. A few weeks ago, all that I saw was Slim Jesus' Drill Time video. People were sharing it- saying how bad he sucks and how garbage the song was. Now I still haven't listened to the song, because I listen to my fair share of garbage music. Here's a bright idea though- IF HE SUCKS SO BAD, STOP GIVING HIM RECOGNITION!!!
Now there was a rumor that he was going to sign to Bad Boy Records but that was a fake article. Quick question to the artists out there struggling- How would you feel if Slim DID get a record deal, and you're still on Facebook trying to get likes? And here's the funny part: You would have helped him get there. Now I don't mind viral videos like "Hide Yo Kids, Hide Yo Wife" by Antoine Dodson and "Ain't Nobody Got Time Fo That" by Sweet Brown because they made me laugh: but Slim Jesus is simply ridiculous. Instead of taking the time to support an underground rapper that you like, plotting on how to build your brand (That's in the next blog) or supporting your favorite upcoming rapper https://www.facebook.com/johnathan2coolpatterson/videos/988495314535597/?__mref=message_bubble : you're supporting a rapper (who you claim was garbage) and made him go viral.
Last point, "Any publicity is good publicity"- you heard that saying a lot and it's true. Last time I checked, Facebook was free to use and you gave Slim free publicity. That's why I don't go around saying that "I'm a rapper in a wheelchair" because I don't want to be seen as the charity case of the underground, and I know that my skills speak for itself. The more you shared Slim Jesus, the more timelines he was on, and the more views he gets. So PLEASE if it's garbage: don't share it and please STOP MAKING WACK RAPPERS FAMOUS. By the way, Slim Jesus just got more publicity by being on my blog. If you're an artist looking for an interview, album review or promotion- find me on Facebook and message me here. Also please comment and share, this can be only as big as you make it so let's ride. If you need beats -https://soundcloud.com/mrsixwheels%20 if you need a good horror story-http://thenightmarea.blogspot.com/ or if you need a good laugh- http://portfolio6w.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-comedy-routine-have-you-ever-noticed.html I'm out
